Joining a host of young bands coming out of a growing scene in Surrey, ENEMY UNKNOWN’s musical direction has evolved over the years into a unique blend of metal with real melodic tendencies. Taking inspiration from bands such as Metallica, Megadeth, Exodus, Iron Maiden and Joe Satriani (!!), to name a few, the four piece add their own unique style to old school heavy metal with brutal efficiency.
In June 2005, ENEMY UNKNOWN entered Philia Studios in Henley-on-Thames (Earthtone9, Stampin’ Ground, The Hurt Process) to lay down the tracks that would become their debut album, with Nick Hemingway at the production helm (Cancer, Fony, Desecration). The demo tapes earned the band a lot of interest from labels, and it didn’t take them long to settle on a deal with Casket Music.
The album named ‘Alert Status: RED’ is to be released on the October 10th 2005.
ENEMY UNKNOWN’s ambition is constant and unwavering. With exceptional new material written, an extensive tour and a video in the works, the determination of this band to succeed is stronger then ever |
