Rather Unwise were born when the bass player Scooter meets the guitarist Mick during a vacation. The two discover they have roots and musical tastes in common and, after a few minutes, they decide to bring their concept of hard rock in front of an audience. The roots are strongly fixed to the raw sound of the Eighties, where the masters are AC/DC, Motorhead and Saxon.
After a pair of concerts with one single guitar there is a need to enter another, to bring the band's sound to have a greater impact, a key part to the sound that the two want to create. So Noiz comes, introduced to Scooter by a common friend. In 2006 the band after some adjustments in the line up, go into the studio to record the demo: On Rock, with behind the microphone the voice scratchy and hoarse of Gilbe that for years revolved around the band. After the recording, the drummer Roger begins his adventure in the band.
The demo arouses the interest of some record companies, including Rising Works and Copro and is with Copro Records that the five decided to sign up the contract for the production of their first job: Rock Doesn't Rust, recorded at Realsound Studio, mastered at Finnvox Studiot Oy by Mika Jussila and published by Carlo Bellotti Publishing/Warner Chappel Music. COMING SOON! A hymn to the durability of this kind of music that, until someone has the strength to hold between his hands a distorted electric guitar, will never die. And does not rust. |
