Quantum Bigfoot |
|
Quantum Bigfoot was formed out of revenge. There. It's been said.
Born in deepest darkest Essex in 1998, the early incarnations suffered the dreaded musical differences, and Quantum Bigfoot is now Chris Payne (vocals), Richard Ingham (bass), G (drums-formerly of Primary Slave) and Hugh Harvey (guitar).
In the early days they were your generic stoner band and released their eponymous demos collection and their infamous "Heavy" EP.
After numerous line ups, they have morphed into a well oiled rock machine with gloriously catchy riffs and lush vocal harmonies enriching their Clutch/Alice in Chains-esque sound.
Never compromising on heaviness, the band have forged a sound which makes them one of the most original and promising British bands at the moment.
Their debut album, ‘Names IS for Tombstones Baby…’ will be released on October 21st through Casket Music, supported by a string of live dates including a slot on the main stage at the Camber-Sands Kerrang! Weekender. |
