Former Casket band NAILED have set a May 5 release date for their forthcoming second album 'Hatred, Failure & The Extinction Of Mankind' released through Anticulture Records. The CD will be available worldwide via Plastic Head distribution in all good record stores, and online from www.anticulture.co.uk.

NAILED was formed in the summer of 2000 with the aim to produce extreme, brutal death metal in the most punishing form possible. After an early demo, "Every Possible Uglyness" and the settling of the lineup, the band began live touring and gigging. Through 2001-2004 the band released another demo CD, "Calculated Act of Murder", and toured throughout the UK to promote it while battling with further member changes. This period saw the band play with names such as NILE, BEHEMOTH, THE HAUNTED, UNSANCTUM, PUTREFY and AREA 54. The material on offer turned many heads in the UK scene.
During early 2005, the band recorded its debut album, "A Pure World Is A Dead World" on Casket before supporting NILE and DYING FETUS. They also embarked on a full UK tour as main support to Sweden's VISCERAL BLEEDING. |
